Covid – Level 2

Tena koutou katoa

Good Evening Kamo Intermediate Whanau

I hope you have enjoyed a great weekend in our wonderful part of New Zealand.

As you will all know, the government has placed all areas, excluding Auckland, into Alert Level 2.  In simple terms, this means business as usual for school communities and we look forward to all students being at school tomorrow.

Your child will need to bring a drink bottle to school as all drinking fountains will be blocked off due to Ministry of Health restrictions under Level 2. Drink bottles are able to be refilled in classrooms.

School start and finish times are as normal, ie the school day starts at 8:45 am. Where possible, children should be dropped off after 8am. The school day finishes at 3pm.

If your contact details have changed since you enrolled your child with us, please make contact with the school office so they can make the changes on our database.

It is important that you keep your child at home if they are unwell. If they arrive at school unwell, or become unwell during the day, you will be called and asked to collect them.

If you have been in Auckland during the weekend and in any of the areas identified as possible places of covid transmission, we ask that you keep your child at home until you are satisfied they are not experiencing any of the covid symptoms.

If your child has a digital device, we encourage them to bring it to school so that digital technology learning and development can be used as a tool to support learning.  Should we find ourselves in Alert Level 3 or 4, devices will be the main way of communicating with students.
