The sun is shining and we are at Level One – yay!

Last night we showcased our school production, Fame.  The students and staff have worked exceptionally hard during the past few terms and it’s great to finally have an audience to perform to.

Now that we are at Level One we are able to increase the numbers at our shows.  If you haven’t yet got your tickets and would like to enjoy a great afternoon/evening’s entertainment, please do come along. We will have a number of door sales.

Our students are well ready for the holidays.  It has been a challenging year for everyone and most of our students have shown great resilience.  Each class is working on assisting us with a Code of Conduct and we will share this with you all early next term.

With a short Term 4 it is important that we work hard to have full attendance by all students.  Our staff will be working hard, alongside the students, to ensure they are ready for school life next year, especially our Y8 students who will begin their high school journey in 2021.

Next term students will be presenting the product/service/system they have created and produced as part of our ENTERPRISE year long concept.  We have seen some impressive creations and look forward to sharing them with you.

A reminder that when driving into the school grounds, please be mindful of your speed.  Children can appear from anywhere and are often oblivious of their surroundings.  We would also appreciate you having further conversations with your child about road safety.  There has recently been some comments on facebook pages about our students’ road sense.  We will also continue to have regular communication with the students about the importance of being aware of traffic and pedestrians.

Thank you for your continued support of Kamo Intermediate – we are very proud of our school and hope you are also.
