Are you a parent or caregiver or family member of a child at Kamo
Intermediate?
Are you someone in the local community who is interested in supporting the
school? Then we need you!!!
Kamo Intermediate School Support Group is now entering its second year after a
fun start in 2018. The purpose of the group is to organise fundraising events to
help with making improvements to the learning environment of all students at
the school. Last year the main event was organising the Colour Fun Run, which was
a huge success. Funds raised last year went towards setting up a new robotics
programme, resources for the e-Team, and a new uniform for the Kapa Haka
group.
So, if you are looking for a way to get involved with the school, increase your
knowledge of what is happening in the school community, meet some new
people and have some fun then this is for you.
There is no expectation of how much time to give – just as much as you can
manage…it all helps! There will be positions available at the AGM in March for
those who are interested in chairing the group, or who have skills in the areas of
administration and/or finance and for anyone else who wants to help out in any
way they can. We try to meet at least once formally in a term and will meet more
regularly if there is a plan in action.
The first meeting of the year, where we can share ideas is next Tuesday 12
February at 5.00pm. If you are keen to get involved, then please come along.

When: Tuesday 12 February at 5pm
Where: Staff Room (Temporary, Room 1, next to Art room)

We look forward to seeing you there.
