Welcome to the 2010 Webslingers for Room 10, Makayla K and Gemma T.
Our classroom teacher is Mrs Grant and our fantastic syndicate leader is Mr Kini.
Room 10 and 15 went on camp together and we had a crazy time at Marsden Bay Youth Camp.
Our Awesome Class Reps for Room 10 are the brainy, Sophie and Parth who are always Channel K.
Our Tawa girls won all their cricket games! Great start to Term 2 Tawa. KEEP IT UP!!!

SPECIALISTS!!!!!!
Room 10 has just finished Design Technology and Hard Materials.
The awesome year 8s made electronic organs and gumball dispensers and
The fantastic year 7s made Cd holders and toy planes.
Well done Room 10 on making such an effort into finishing.
READING COMPETITION FINALS IN TAWA.
The Tawa students that were chosen for the Yr 7 Reading Competition
were Sam H From Rm 11, Devin P from Room 10, Bailey S from Room 14. Yr 8's were Chloe G from Room 14, Caitlin W from Room 14, Chloe N from Room 11, Sophie C from Room 10.
In the end Sam H from Room 11 and Chloe G from Room 14 got chosen to be the Tawa Reading Competition champions.

Room 10s News8th June 2010Winter sports day!!!
Winter sports was on 28th of May. There was Netball,Rugby,Hockey,Ripper Rugby, Soccer,Basket Ball and Rugby League.
Gemma: My Dad gave Paps a coffee, Paps said it was really nice!! :). Makayla squirted people at Netball and so did Gemma.
Roadshow
The KIS Roadshow is coming up on September 13th to the 23rd. There will be Dancing,singing, Acting and much more. Please come along and watch all the great entertaining performances. It is going to be funky.

Room 10s News!!!!Tuesday 22nd June Cross Country!
Cross Country is coming up next term come along and Cheer K.I.S students to go hard and try there best. We really need you cheering for us on the side line it really does work, also i will ask Mrs Ladd if the teachers would be allowed a sprint off TEHEHE!!!
Goal Shooting Relay
The Goal Shooting relay has been on the last two weeks. In the Tawa syndicate one Room 14 won 1st place then the x team then Room 11 and then Room 10.

Road show auditions for dances have started and next week singers are starting so be ready to rock K.I.S students

Room 10's 6th BlogTuesday 27th July 2010Cross Country
Cross Country is coming on Week 5. All of the syndicates are training for it. Come along and cheer and watch all of the kids that are participating. We will put the date up on the 7-8th blog so that you know when to come. GO HARD TAWA!!!!!!
Science Fair
Nice work KIS on your great effort for doing the Science Fair. They all looked great.
What a amazing start to term 3. For people who want to see what projects we came up with check out the class galleries.
This Term, Tawa is having an exciting trip to the Zoo and to Waiwera. We are studying Endangered Animals for topic. We are all very excited about going.

Bula!! Welcome to Room 10s 7th Blog9/8/2010Math Expo!!
This week Some of KIS Students went to the "Maths Expo" which is a fun maths game day where you get to play heaps of fun maths games. You can also win some spot prizes (like Gemma did). It was a lot of fun.
Language Fest!!
Last Week was the Language Fest. All of the classes went in to learn some other languages and cultures. There also was some food for sale from each country, France,Spain,New Zealand and Japan. The food was Fried bread and mince, Sushi, Okonomiyaki, Crepes and Ice Cream. We all enjoyed it.
Specialists!!
We are changing specialists YAAAAAAAAYYY!!! Room 10 were just doing Art and Music and now we are going to Nutrition and Textiles.

Welcome to Room 10s 8th Blog25/8/10Zoo Trip
Next week all of the Tawa classes are going to the Zoo and Waiwera in Auckland. This is part of our topic Endangered Animals. We are going next Thursday. We will all enjoy it.
CROSS COUNTRY
We had a lot of fun at Cross country, but it was really cold. Out of the year 7 girls the winner was Ella from Room 16, For the Year 7 boys Duncan Room 6, Yr 8 Girls Katrina from Room 6 And for the Year 8 boys Shane from Room 18.
Roadshow
Roadshow is coming along quickly. Get ready because it's Going to be a wild show with acts, dances, songs, and much more entertaining things on.
