Nikau C's new class and class reps for 201020.04.10
Kia Ora and welcome to Nikau c's first blog of 2010. This year has started of extremely well, at the start of the year Nikau C chose our class reps and deputies. We had to write a letter to miss Nelley, to say why we should be chosen for Nikau c's class reps, it trued out that me, Ashley got deputy with georgia and Nikau C's class reps are Sean and Braih.
Last year was awesome, but this year is going to be better than ever and we are going to get involved in as many things as possible. Last year me, Ashley got 34 stripes but this year i have got 15 stripes so i now only need 1 more stripe to get my gold award.
Ellen has got 1 stripe for beach to basin…..good start Ellen!!!
At the end of every blog we do we are going to put a joke on the end of it….
There were two blondes they walked into a building, you thought one of them would have seen it!!!

Nikau C's Soccer Blog3.05.10
Bonjour, and welcome to another one of Nikau C's amazing blogs for term 2.
Last week it was Nikau C's first game of soccer, we scored our first goal in the first 10 minutes and the other team didn't score at all during the whole game, thanks to our amazing goalie, Ben. We are now going to aim for the shield.
Last weekend, me and Ellen played netball , i got player of the day as goal shoot, and our team won 12-1, on the other hand unfortunately Ellen's team lost :(
Ellen played center, and did an amazing job.
And now for a joke

Winter Sports Blog1-6-10
Kia ora and welcome to Nikau C's Winter Sports blog.
Winter Sports day was a fun and an exciting day for everyone. The sports to choose from were league, netball, hockey, basket ball, rugby, ripper rugby and soccer.
Me and Ellen played netball and we were in the same team!!! But unfortunately we lost 5 of our games, drew one game, and won one game!!!!!
Overall Winter Sports day was a fun, but tiring day and we can't wait untill next year!!!!!!!!

Kia Ora and welcome to Nikau C's newest blog for the World Cup our
team is called ....
GREECE!! Its awesome and in the real soccer World Cup. Greece has had a match, unfortunately they lost.
Also there is the latest lunch time sports the Shooting Comp, hope you're in it. There is frisbee, basketball, netball and .... lots more to join in with.
Everyone did really well on Winter Sports keep it up.
Q:Why did the old man throw the clock out the window?
A:He wanted to see time fly by.

Trivial Pursuit Night 201027.06.10What a night!!!!! On Friday last week there was a trivial pursuit night at K.I.S in the hall fundraising for the K.I.S students going overseas at the end of the year. There was some entertainment, like Kennedy singing, Austyn and Josh singing and playing the guitar and someone from Room 3.
We raised heeeeeeeeeaps of money over the whole night and I was waitress for the Shockers with Joanne from NC.
Now we will finish off with a joke.....
Q. Why did the chicken cross the road.
A. Because he wanted to.

MId Winter Arts Festival2.8.10On Saturday and Sunday, the Mid Winter Arts Festival was being held in the Old Library and in Forum North in Whangarei.
There was plenty of delicious food to eat like, tacos, nachos, tostada, chocolate, lollies, ice cream, hotdogs and many more yummy items. There were plenty of refreshing drinks like beer and wine, juice, water, fizzy and more.
One of the main things was 1000 whales instead of 1000 cranes for good luck.
Some more events that were happening was amazing singing, dancing, maori dancing, opera and instrumental acts.
The part that Ellen liked the best was all of the fantastic art.

Inter School Bowls Tournament and Bernina fashion awards16.08.10
Last week the inter school bowls tournament was held in the table tennis centre at kensington park. K.I.S entered 6 teams, our team was called K.I.S 1, at the end of the day we came in 1st place which was pretty cool. When we were all finished bowling the south island bowling team came into the building and they helped us improve our bowling skills and abilities. Everyone that went enjoyed it heaps and we all had a very fun day.
The Bernina fashion awards was amazing! The first section to go on the catwalk
was the mask group, there were eight students in the mask and seven of them where k.i.s students, the people that won in the mask was Hayley in room 3 came first Renee in room 18 came second, and julia from Matai came 3rd.

Q. Why did the wizard wear a yellow robe to the Halloween party?
A. Because he was going as a banana.

Cross Country31.8.10Welcome to Nikau C's next blog. Everyone did so well in Cross Country and
had such fun. It was great Ella in Room 16 came first out of the year 7 girls Mackenzie in Nikau B came second and fourth was Sharnae from Nikau C. Good
luck to all those people going to Barge Park only the top ten finishers from each section go.

Intensives8.11.10Kia Ora and welcome to Nikau C's latest blog for the term.
we had a great start, but, the most fun thing to do was intensives, there where loads of fun things to do like go abseiing, surfing, clean the beach, horse riding and more.
Millie and I went to Animal Husbandry and we got to hold one day old lambs! We also went to the SPCA. We saw cute kittens and cats, but there were heaps of dogs there and most of them need a new home. It's really sad, so get your mum, dad or someone to take you there and convince them that they can adopt one. I hope everyone had as much fun on their intensives as I did on mine.

Talent Quest22.11.10Kia ora and welcome to Nikau Cs latest blog, later on this week K.I.S has got talent will be happening, it'll be so cool. There's gonna be singing, dancing, acrobats and more, It will be held in the school hall at 6:45pm on Thursday night and so will the food court, also with every gold coin entry you get one vote for the best talent, so whoever gets the most votes wins and is pronounced the K.I.S student with the best talent!! it will be fun, yummy and so fun.
