They have been teaching us lots of fun and cool skills with AFL like hand balling , drop punting and hand dribbling. Everyone always has lots of fun and we do six sessions of AFl.
The latest lunchtime sport has started soccer which is lots of fun. On Monday we had our first game against Room 10. The game score was 2 all. After that we went to penalty shootout which took a long time to do but at the end we won 4-3 what a awesome game of soccer that was.

Last week on Wednesday and Friday were very busy days because we had the WIS KIS challenge on those days!
There were lots of sports being played including Basketball, Soccer, Netball, Rugby, and Hockey. It was very intense and everyone was really excited. In the end, we only came back with a few wins: Boys Soccer and Girls Hockey but everyone had lots of fun. Hopefully, we will win back the shield next time!
On Friday we have our annual KIS Cross Country. There will be 4 age groups which are: Year 7 girls, Year 7 boys, Year 8 girls and last but not least, Year 8 boys. It is always exciting to see the people at the end of the race, really puffed, but also really proud that they have accomplished the race.

Blog 117/7/2011During the last 2 weeks of term 3 the famous KIS Roadshow was on. We traveled around Whangarei putting on magnificent shows. All the effort that the Roadshow performers put in, paid off and the audience loved the show.
Everyone here at school is getting ready for prize giving and the end of year assembly's.
Everyone is using every second of their Specialist time because we only have a few more lessons left and we want to finish our projects.
