Coopers Beach 09

Last term we went to Coopers Beach for camp. We had a wonderful time and had the chance to make a movie (but unfortuntely what is  made at camp,stays at camp). When we got back we had to write about our time the great times we had.
Mrs Davies made our three days  exciting and fun.
The great Mr Alen took us kayaking we  surfed our way into the shore "Hula!" we  called  before we capsized, We surfaced spitting water and laughing aloud. ''Oh no im gonna crash'' ''im gonna crash'' he cursed as our he zoomed down the flying fox. there was a sickening crunch as our classmate flew into the rubber tires. ''Flicker flicker flicker'' we watched curiously while huddled underneath our warm tight sleeping  bags,"Aliens'' we whispered! A Wakening Snoooore pierced the silence ''sssssshhhhh''!!!!!! we yelled at the offender! As we walked into the hall we looked at the girls cleaning up the dishes '' oh no''!! ''we missed breakiee again?!?!!!
After begging the remenants of their meal from our remaining classmates we went outside and watched the parents setting up the water slide. A few minutes later we were doing fancy tricks down the slide and also watching other people do there thing. On the last night we begged the adults to let us stay, Please please please please. All in all it was a great time.

This term we did soccer for lunchtime sport it was exciting and fun.The ball racing through  the air everybody screaming like little girls but unfortunately the ball got through duh duuh duuuhhhhhhhh!!!!!! . It was bummer but we lost to the mighty room 6.  It was so humiliating that most of us broke down and cried. Though we are still in the running for the plate. We did better in winter sports and we (Jasper(me) and Gage(me)) each played each other and the winner was a TIE!?!?!? ''We are so cool!!?'' ''Are we''???? any way seeya.................

Stuff

Room 18 is so the bomb because we were in the semi final until we got blown up by room 9 mighty but still not as cool as us the best class in the world! (it was a fluke that they won) we should have won because we were better(for a while) and RIMU the overall best syndicate in the world is definitely better than Matai.

Ruggers
It is now the start of term 2 and in the last blog we promised to tell you about ruggers (rugby). For the year 8's we got creamed like no one has ever been creamed before by all the other syndicates except Nikau (it was not a fluke that we won!) Gage scored a try just before he got tackled and without that try we would have not won( his phone number is not 1am5oc00l so don't call) . The year 7's failed and practically gave away 1000's of points, though then again they did alright and special mentions to Jasper who almost got the ball. The girls did really good and didn't lose a game(the other teams must have been half asleep because there is no way that the girls could won more games than us boys).

This term we are doing the goal shooting relay. Room 18 came last in the inter-rimu practice and came a ASTOUNDING second to last giving rimu about a massive 0.000002 points. YAY!!! The other classes did alright and room 15 got first but we guess that's O.K and almost as good as us. We all did a tremendous effort following the school motto's "Being the best that you can be"  "Be the you, you want to be"
"If it is to be it is up to me" and being Rimu Channel K.

Gage and Jazbean

 

Hello fellow mellow blog readers, this is our last blog and we want this one to be cool (Jazbean said that).
Every year Kamo Intermediate Mr Smith allows us lovely pupils to have intensives. Intensives are when we choose 3 fun activities to do each of the three days me (Jasper) chose a 3 day intensive which was Sailing. The 20 students that got chosen either sailed an optimist or  a P-Class dinghy. The International optimist is what most inexperienced sailers learn on (us), they are a lot easier to sail compared to the P-Class which are a lot harder to sail. We got to sail at the Parua Bay Sailing Club.

 Gage happened to make a really good choice. I decided to do three activities rather than one. For the first day i did Vertical Playground which is basically rock climbing. The second day i did X.M.B ( Xtreme Mountain Biking) where we went to the new BMX track and rode around and did stunts all day. Last and not least i did Animal Survival where we go into the forest and hunt each other.
