Stylie 7even has a new teacher this year and her name is Ms Ngaire. She is a true athlete, hunter, and a awesome teacher.

On Friday we versed Room18 in soccer and lost two: nil we were shattered!!!

Week of Celebration

18.05.2010

Last week we won the lunchtime soccer plate. We played Room 4 and at full time it was 1 all so we went to a penalty shoot out!

Sam missed his shot at the goal and Tom scored his goal. We ended up winning the plate for lunchtime soccer!!!!

All the Matai hockey teams won their first game and we will hopefully win the championships.

The four year 7evens from our class came 3rd in the spelling bee.The year 8s are coming up soon!

Winter Sports Day

Last Friday, we had our Winter Sports day. Our whole school went and there were heaps of sports to choose from. There was hockey, ripper rugby, rugby, league, basketball, soccer, and netball.We had lots of fun and enjoyed our day.

Last week and this week, we have been playing lunchtime hockey.The Year 8 girls have won all their games and the year 7 girls have won 1,drew 1, and lost one.The Matai boys have been doing very well as well.

KIS World Cup 2010

 Last week saw the start of the KIS World Cup 2010!!! Room 7even is Uruguay
and for our first game we were up against Slovakia A.K.A Room 3. It was an intense game but as the games are only 7 minutes long each half you could tell that we were dominating the game!!!!I it was fun and in the end we came out on top winning 6-2.IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

Science Fair

Our class is science fair crazy. Everyone is doing it. Some people are doing it on cheese, skateboards, chickens, maori weaponry and warfare plus theres more With 32 science fair boards our class is a pretty tight squeeze.

This is the last week of the term so you wont hear from us for a good 3 weeks so
ta ta for now.
