Teacher Questions (Miss Keogh)

Room 9

1.Why did you become a Teacher?
Because my students bring out the best in me and I believe I bring out the best in them.

2. What did you have to do to become a Teacher?
Work hard during high school, 3 years at university and then 2 years etching before fully registered.

3..What was your first day of teaching like?
It was extremely busy a lot of fun though my students helped me heaps which was awesome.

4.What is your favorite place to visit?
I like to visit the mermaid pools at Matapouri during summer and the water hole were I do sketching during winter at A.H. Reid memorial park.

5.What is your favorite food?
My favorite food is SUSHI.

6.What are the benefits about being a teacher?
Working with 30 students who enjoy learning. Great waking up in the morning and being excited about going to work.

7.Who was your favorite Teacher when you were at school?
I had an awesome teacher in primary school who I will never forget. Her name was Mrs Marshell. She made learning so much fun and was passionate about being a teacher.

8.what other country would you like to teach in?
I would like to teach in Vietnam one day. My friend has done it and says it is the most rewarding thing she has ever done.

9.If you could eat dinner with any two famous people who would they be?
Sonny Bill Williams and Robin Williams. A good mixture of talent and humor.

10.Who is someone you look up to?
I look up to my mother who is also a teacher she is a hard working, dedicated, passionated woman who has endless time and love for her whanua and friends.
