Room 5's First Bloq11/4/11
This year Room 5's teacher is the cool as Mr Brown and our awesome Class Reps are Kate & Rachel.
We had our camp at Tangihua this year. It was fun.
Tug'O'War was the first lunchtime sport this year our class was runner-up for the plate.YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Scatterball was the second lunchtime sport.Our class got knocked out on the second round.

Specialists9/5/2011
In term one for specialists we did Textiles with Ms.de Bruin, I.T. (Computers) with Mr.Witten and Nutrition with Mrs.Taylor and Mrs.Nisbet.In Textiles the year 7s made pencil cases and the year 8s made a game board.They looked really cool!
In I.T. we learnt all about how to work the Apple computers, which is good!
In Nutrition the year 7s began with easy recipies like waterlily salad and butterfly cakes and the year 8s got to do more complicated recipies like lasagna and pasta.
This term we are doing Hard Materials with Mr.Brown and Design Tech with Mr.Epskamp, we are looking forward to it and hoping it is as much fun as the last ones!

Room 5's 3rd blog30/5/11Goal shooting has started.We got 1st in Kowhai.The playoffs are on Tuesday.
Four square has finished.We came 2nd in our seed and Kowhai came 2nd overall
Winter sports day is on Thursday. Be prepared for what you're playing. I'm playing Football and Hannah's playing Netball.

Room 5's Fourth Blog28-6-11Lunchtime soccer has just finished. Room 17 won the championship and Nikau B won the plate. Our class got into the plate and then lost.
Shepherds trophy was a couple of weeks ago but………. Mangapai A Grade Top Notch Girls won it. Over half of of the Mangapai team is from KIS! : )
Lunchtime netball is starting up very soon and guess who's gonna win KOWHAI! : )

Blog 612.7.20X1The K.I.S social is coming up in 2 days! YAY! B ) It's going to be sooooo mean! Nobody dances so this year we want to change it up a little! Everybody HAS to dance or ELSE! Approximately over 200 people attend the social every year!

Room 5's 7th Blog22-8-2011WIS/KIS was last week KIS won girls hockey, boys soccer and NOTHING ELSE!!!!!!!! So now WIS has the WIS/KIS shield.
Kayla in our class made it into Science Fair Regionals at Forum North! Her one was called "Flowers Dying To Look Good" :) Our class did really well!
Intersyndicate rugby has started. Kowhai isn't going that well. The Year 8 boys lost to Tawa!!
Cross Country is on Friday;( Kowhai has really good runners! :P
MathEx is also on Friday at Kamo High. It is going to be fun.

Blog 820-9-2011Callum is not here to help me write this blog, because he is swanning off in Vanuatu! :(
On Friday the 16th at Kamo Intermediate the best Intermediate in the world we had the KIS WRC tabloids. I wasn't there to see all the fun.
Our RWC country is England. So far in turbo touch we've won 1 game against Italy and lost the other to Scotland.
Also Mangapai Girls Hockey Team won the 2011 JMC Hockey Champions! :D Most of the girls go to Kamo Intermediate!
Speech finals and Roadshow are on next week and we have only 3 weeks left of Term 3! YAY! :D
