Room 4 Goes To The Mime :-)

22/6/10

On the 21st of June 2010 a spectacular mime called Svargo came to our school to preform, and to teach us some mime tricks. All of the children that watched him thought that he was hilarious. But in some parts he was confusing for the kids but it was still funny.

One of the funniest parts was when he said this is what my father taught me just before he died and then he mimed a sword and stabbed himself then he pulled out  his intestines and said that they were sausages.

Reotahi Marine Reserve

15/11/10

Last week on Wednesday the 10th of November, Rooms 2 and 4 went to the Reotahi Marine Reserve.

At the Reotahi Marine Reserve we had a scavenger hunt, went to the old freezing works and we also went snorkeling. When we were snorkeling we saw many different species of fish like the Spotties, Snapper, Kina, Paua and Oysters.

Thank you to all of the parents helpers that made that day possible. We are also going to goat island on Wednesday, we will be writing about Goat Island on our next blog!!
