EXTENSION and ENRICHMENT PROGRAMMES
"Part of what makes Kamo Intermediate School
THE BEST SCHOOL IN THE WORLD
is its diverse range of extension programmes."
These classes give students further opportunities to extend their abilities and explore their passion for learning.
Anyone can apply to be a part of an extension group.
Groups are selected from the application form you complete as well as recommendations from Teachers.
Teachers will recommend students who, by ability and positive attitudes to schoolwork, show that they deserve the opportunity and will make the most of it.

CREATIVE LIFE AT K.I.S
Part of what makes Kamo Intermediate School "The Best In The World" is its diverse range of Extension Programmes.
Our school has an awful lot to offer us and we take this up by taking part in an extension group activity. Before you can start experiencing the opportunities available, you have to apply yourself by displaying all your great qualities on one piece of paper. (Yes! The dreaded application form!)
Some students didn’t just rely on their great qualities, instead they went the extra mile and made the tutors’ cakes and ran around doing jobs and all sorts of bizarre things!!
At the end of the selection process, the moment of truth arrives! 236 wildly excited students turn up at their chosen areas of passion and creativity, ready to have a heap of fun and experience, an awesome range of diverse opportunities!!! (Boat-Building, Creative Foods, Mathematical Puzzles, Creative Arts, Philosophy for Children, KIS Komuniti FM Radio Station and many, many more!)
