TRI-SERIES HOCKEY TOURNAMENT

This year, for the first time, Kamo Intermediate's Girls 1st XI Hockey team, Diocesen School for Girls and Southern Hockey Club (from South Auckland) competed in the first ever "Tri-Series Tournament".
Our Girls 1st XI Hockey Team was invited to Auckland to play in the tournament, Kamo Intermediate has a relatively new team this year, with only 2 players returning from last year. There are 4 new Year-8's and 8 Year-7 players in the team. They were very excited but nervous as both Auckland teams would be tough. Diocesen was in the Aims Games Final last year coming second (we came third), and Southern was a mixed team.
the girls played with a lot of heart and were fortunate enough to win both games, 3-2 against Dio and 1-0 against Southern.
We would like to thank the parents and coaches of Diocesen, Southern and our girls for this hopefully annual event. WELL DONE GIRLS!!!
