K.I.S READING COMPETITION - 2009 (VIDEO)

2009 READING COMPETITION CHAMPIONS
8th & 15th MAY 2009

This year's annual competition was extremely difficult to judge. The Year-8 finals were held on Friday 8th May featuring:

Sara - Rimu
Brad - Kowhai
Matt - Matai
Nakeysha - Tawa
Nathan - Nikau

The 2009 Year-8 Champion reading "HARRIS & ME" by Gary Paulsen was Nathan (Nikau).

On Friday 15th May we then sought the Year-7 Champion between these syndicate representatives:

Bernard - Kowhai
Dayna - Rimu
Ella-Rose - Matai
Parth - Tawa
Laura - Nikau

The newly crowned Year-7 Champion reading "The FUNNIEST STORIES" by Paul Jennings is Laura (Nikau).

Congratulations to Laura & Nathan (giving Nikau the Reading Comp "Clean Sweep"). And Well Done to all those who competed!!!
