K.I.S 'WACKY-HAIR' MUFTI DAY

Layla from  Rimu shaved her hair to raise money for "Children with Cancer". Layla got sponsorship from kids and teachers around the school and she also convinced 4 teachers; Mr Kini, Mrs Gunson, Mr Palmer and Mr Witten to also shave their lids. One of the surprises was that the person with the highest sponsoring funds got to shave Mr Witten's head, congratulations to Eden in NC for raising the most sponsorship. (and yes Mr Witten, it's still all gone!!!)

For the mufti day everyone was encouraged to wear wacky hair, oh and mufti and pay $2 which went to Children for Cancer. Of course some students raised more money and donated their earnings for Layla as well.

This was an awesome event organised by Layla, Miss Nelley and their class and of course Layla's whanau. Layla we are all proud of you and you look just as beautiful with your new hair do!!!
