This year's Languages Festival had a little extra flavour with chinese exchange teacher Jia Li joining us this time.

The students involved in the Languages Extensions were helpers in each of the 4 territories. In Hayley's Japanese section you got to try origami, and dress in Kimonos, happy shirts and ninja gear and pose for photos. In the Maori section they learned the stick games and tried some poi. The French taught you twister and colour slap. In the Spanish section you played mix & match and in Mandarin you got to do calligraphy and chopsticks.

We also had the Film Festival running and the films most requested were Tama Tu and Two Cars, One Night both made by Taika Waititi and Eugene watch out for that axe by Jason Stutter.

At Tuesday lunchtime we had the Food Festival where students could try spring rolls, nachos, sushi, eclairs and a boil up. A great event where we learned a bit, tried a bit and had a whole lot of fun!!!
