BLACKS STICKS WOMEN VISIT KAMO INTERMEDIATE

The Black Sticks women and men played internationals against Korea and Belgium at the Northland ITM Rosvall Hockey Stadium. We were very lucky to have a visit from not only the 7 former Kamo Intermediate Students Laura Douglas, Ella Gunson, Charlotte Harrison, Samantha Harrison, Jasmin McQuinn, Stacey Michelsen & Anna Thorpe but also we had the pleasure of meeting Anita Punt, Sally Rutherford, Black Sticks Coach Mark Hager & Fitness Trainer Brad Conza.
The Black Sticks were then asked about themselves, which position they played and for our former students which class they used to be in. They also talked about what they practiced for when they were Intermediate kids and what they did now to keep their skills up.
They were only meant to be here for an hour, but after having their assembly, they were lovely enough to sign autographs for the crowd of excited KIS students. A huge thank you to everyone who came and we wish you continued success! We know everyone here will be cheering for you!!
