BERNINA FASHION AWARDS 2009

Hayley’s Creative Arts Extension
Masks – Wearable Arts – Dance Costumes
This is the 8th year that Hayley has had Kamo Intermediate students enter the Bernina Fashion Awards. Every year the quality gets better as they build on what has previously been created so of course this year was the best by far.
At the beginning of Term 2 the Creative Arts Extension classes started with the students creating a mask or outfit to enter in the Awards held at Forum North. They had to come up with a concept, draft it and then create their garment, before finally modelling them on the catwalk.
We had 38 students competing, a lot of former students who are at High School also had entered and we also won some prizes. Here is the List of our participants and the Sections they entered as well as the prize winners. Well Done Everyone, It was an awesome show and you did yourselves proud.
