We have 4 Hockey teams involved in the local Northland JMC Tournaments. We have  the Girls First XI, The Boys A-Grade team and 2 teams in the B-Grade Competition. The competitions takes place at the Northland Hockey Stadium.
 
As well as the K.I.S students involved in the Kamo Intermediate Teams, we also have lots of students in the Ruatangata, Springfield and Mangapai squads.


The "A-Grade JMC Girls" Competition (involving the Girls First XI) is played on Thursday afternoons at 4pm or 5pm.

The "A-Grade JMC Boys" Competition (involving the Boys First XI) is played on Friday afternoons at 4pm or 5pm.

The "B-Grade JMC Girls" Competition (involving the KIS B-Grade Green team and the KIS B-Grade Red team) is usually played on a Saturday morning.

We hope you can come and support our students, and the teams they play for. We'll see you at the "HOCKEY"

"EIGHT" Make the Black Sticks

Fortunately we have been lucky to have a number of students go on to represent not only Northland, North Harbour and Auckland, but they also achieve National honours in the New Zealand Black Sticks. The latest Women's Black Sticks sqaud boasts 8 former K.I.S Students (playing a series against India).
 
Laura Douglas, Ella Gunson, Charlotte Harrison, Sam Harrison,
Jasmin McQuinn, Stacey Michelsen, Alana Millington & Anna Thorpe.
 
We hope in the future some of the students who are playing now, will proudly represent New Zealand in the future. Well Done!!!
