Fantastic Fives First Blog21/04/10
Hi and welcome to Fantastic 5ives first blog for 2010.
Our teachers are Ms O'Connor and Mrs Smith but in term 1 Mrs Williams was our teacher as well. Our Class Reps are Chloe and Kyle. Our Deputy is Poppy.
We had a great time on our 3 day activities week. We had a day of surfing, a day at the adventure forest and a day at Paihia's Adventure World.
It was awesome!!!

Hi, welcome to Fantastic 5ives 2nd blog
Last week we played soccer against Nikau A, and won. it was an awesome game but it was very hard.
As you all know Room 5 has a new teacher, Mrs Smith. She started on the 22nd of April.
Bernard was selected by our teachers to go through to the syndicate finals for reading comp. Great work Bernard. Now it is a battle between Claire and Maeve for the year sevens.

Fantastic Fives third blog17/05/10Hi welcome to Fantastic Fives third blog.
Last week Fantastic Five won the Lunchtime Soccer Championship against Room 8. The full time score was nil-all so we had go to a penalty shoot out. And we WON 2-1.
Now we are into the hockey rounds. GO KOWHAI.

Fantastic Fives fourth blog.31/05/10'YAY'!! we've reached our 500 class points and now we get to go to the movies on the 1st of June.We are going to watch Boy!! .
Last Friday , 28th of May we had Winter Sports Day. We all had a lot of fun playing sports at Kensington Park!! Chloe surprise, surprise played netball and Mere played Ripper Rugby. We were the bomb!!

29.06.10Fantastic 5ives 6th BlogHi ans welcome to Fantastic 5ives 6th blog.
On Monday we played Room8 in netball and we won 5-3. SHOT ROOM 5IVE YOU ROCK!.
Last week on Friday Kowhai went up against Nikau in debating and won. Our debating team was Bernard, Aja, Tegan.
On Thursday 1st of July. Room 5ive are having a Mini Gala Day. So bring your money along on Thursday.

3/08/10Fantastic 5ives 7th blog.Term 3 has started with a "BIG BANG". Everything is happening in term 3. We started with the Science Fair and now we are in the Ripper Rugby. Kowhai girls have won a game and drawn a game. Next thing coming up is the Language Fest and the Cross Country.

Good work to Hayley from Room 3 for coming 1st in your masks section and to Stephanie and Claire from Room 5 your designs from trash to fashion were awesome.

Fantastic 5ives 9th Blog30/8/10Congratulations to Claire for coming 8th in the Y7 girls cross country! Adam for coming 2nd in the Y7 boys cross country, and Chloe for coming 2nd in the Y8 girls cross country! YAY! Good Luck at Barge Park This Friday!

fantastic 5ives 10th blog20/09/10Last week our class went to watch the road show it was awesome there are some really talented kids at our school. We also won 2 of our volleyball game.
Room 5 and 3 are getting ready to go on their trip out to the Reotahi and Goat Island it is going to be an awesome week and our new class rep is poppy and we have one of our class mates over in vanuatu.

It is the last term for the year 8s ever at Kamo intermediate.
Intensives is coming up. It is going to be so fun.
later on in the term our class is going to go to 3 different marine reserves for our marine reserves topic. It is going to be awesome.

Fantastic 5ives 11th Blog9/11/10Lately we have been getting ready for athletics. We have already ran the 100m sprint heats and the 800m finals. Now we are ready for all the field events. Today we are going to have the class relay teams and the 200m heats.
We leave to go to Reotahi on Thursday the 11th of November and leave to go to goat island on the 18th of November for our marine reserve topic study.

Fantastic 5ives 12th Blog23/11/10On Thursday the 18th of November we went to Goat Island Marine Reserve. The snorkeling was awesome. The glass bottom boat was so cool, the water was so clear and there were some really cool marine life. We had an awesome day and thank you to all the parent helpers.
Athletics has been a real highlight for Kowhai we have been doing really well and are now at the top of the points table.
KEEP IT UP KOWHAI!!!!!!!
