WINTER SPORTS TOURNAMENT

This year, Kamo Intermediate once again took part in the 2008 Winter Sports Tournament. Over 600 K.I.S students took part in 77 teams, covering 8 different sports:
Basketball (5 Teams), Hockey (12 Teams), League (3 Teams), Netball (10 Teams), Ripper Rugby (4 Teams), Rugby (6 Teams), Soccer (25 Teams) and Table Tennis (12 Teams).
14 other Schools also took part, they were from Whangarei Intermediate, Tikipunga High, Matarau, Hukerenui, Tauraroa Area School, Parua Bay, Poroti, Mangakahia, Te Horo, Kura Kaupapa, Mangakaramea, Kamo Christian, Mangatapere and Manaia View.
As with anything, the teams really wanted to win, but the most important factor on the day was FUN!!!
