Japanese Students and Olympics11.8.08.
WOW!!!!!
Kamo Intermediate have had a pretty BIG culture thing going around the school these last two weeks. Because all the lucky people going to Vanuatu or Samoa got the chance to host a Japanese student and I was one of them! Unfortunately we had to bid farewell to them all early this freezing morning on the 11th of August. Fortunately for them they are traveling to Japan via Singapore and staying there for a week. Anyway back to New Zealand, the poor host students were left looking a bit teary eyed! But what an awesome experience! We had a boy his name was Yuta once he got into his comfort zone he was a cheeky Japanese dude an guess what we taught him to say“Howdy Partner” so byedy partner to you in this category.
Is everybody enjoying the Olympics?? Because I know onething for sure we are blitzing everyone in the women and men’s double sculls aswell as the women and men’s single sculls and the one with four people in it!Keep it up NZ we love you!!!!!
Tata for now

Busy busy busy18.8.08Kamo Intermediate has been very busy these couple of weeks! First there was the chocolate fundraiser which goes to the Challenge Course upgrade, then the high schools having open days, interviews and little speeches and finally the WIS / KIS event which was postponed due to rain, rain and even more rain! Although it has been raining, we all have had heaps of fun with other activities.

P.S – Renae was away today so I wrote this all by myself!!!

When poor old Freya has been bucked kicked flicked and whatever else you could imagine off a horse for Intensives.
