ZOO TRIP BLOG14/11/08ZOO TRIP BLOG
Monday 9th November started off with a rough and tumble at Wenderholme Park. We did all sorts of games like Bat Down, Hide And Go Seek, Touch and more. We also just hung out on the beach and posed for the camera.
Then we made our way to the Albany Westfield Mall for some rad as shopping and some smooth as ice creams. Afterwards we were all tired, but the day wasn’t over. We finally arrived at the Zoo!
We had the meanest dinner and then that very night we went on the ‘Safari Night Walk’. It was awesome; we got to feed the Hippopotamus some cabbage and we also got to see the leopards and lions. We finished the night off with a Milo or coffee and then we all conked out.
The next morning we all had to get up at 6:30am and get ready to go. We all went to the park next the Zoo’s main entrance and played there for a while. We then made our way to the Auckland War Museum to give our respects to the young men who went to the First World War and sacrificed their lives to make peace in Europe. Our last activity for the day was at Waiwera Thermal Resort for a few hours and took heaps of photos. Then we made our final destination home.
