Room 7s Camp
Tuesday 25TH March 2008
On Tuesday 25th March we were all packed and ready for the best camp ever. We are going to Whananaki!!!
We were all excited about it . We were going to be sleeping in tents right by a beach at Whananaki motor camp .
On the first day we played volleyball and for dinner we had burgers ,and after we played the glow stick game .We didn’t like it to much because first Emily ran into a bench and needed stiches . Next Josh ran into Cam not long after Cam shed a few tears, (crying).
On the next day we did sea biscuiting, surfing and had burgers for dinner.
On the last day we had to pack up and leave the camp site.

ROOM 7'S POOL TRIP11-8-08On the 2nd of July 2008, Room 7 and 15 made their way to an exciting trip at the Whangarei hot pools. We arrived at approximately 11:15. Everyone had a great time sliding down the gigantic hydro-slides and fast flowing waves. The day was kicked off with a delicious feed of fish & chips. We all think it was an awesome and successful day and would love to do it again some other day.

K.I.S. Cross-country!21-10-08
On the 18th of August, we had the school cross-country. The look on people’s faces was a mixture between nerves and excitement. The Yr 8 girls were the first to start their race. The winner out of all of the Yr 8 girls was Tayla from Nikau A. Next up was the Yr 7 girls. The winner from them was Bridget from room 15. Then came up the Yr 8 boys and then the Yr 7 boys. The winners of the boy’s races were Ethan from room 10 and Ethan from room Nikau B!
It was a really hot and exhausting day, but we got through it. Now the only thing we have to do now… is wait for next years one!!

INTENSIVES11/11/0829-10-08 to 31-10-08
Three days of fun away from school…or in school but not doing the normal curriculum. Activities could range from Marvellous Murals to getting down and dirty in the game of Paintball. Cam and I definitely got down and dirty, in fact Cam got down and dirty and shot. Tears were rushing and building up in his eyes. Cam was told to harden up. Also I (Jesse) got shot but I barely felt it until the adrenaline wore off. Paintball was just one of the many fun, successful activities.
