Interview With Our Teacher Ms Ngaire

This year Room 10 has a new teacher because last year Mrs Gunson was pregnant with baby boy Caden, as a new edition to our class along with the year seven’s we asked her some questions and this is what we found out…………


What inspired you to be a teacher?
I wanted to find out what my own children would be learning.

What were your previous jobs or careers?
Psychiatric nurse aid, nurse, technical assistant in blood bank, commercial weaver and administrator officer at polytechnic.

What was your first job?
Wrapping chocolate Easter eggs at Cadbury in Dunedin.

What other aged people have you taught?
Adults, new entrants, and early childhood.

Why did you come to Whangarei to teach?
Because I haven’t lived here before.

What are the other places you have lived?
Dunedin, Tauranga, Auckland, Doha.

What are your other interests besides teaching?
Gardening, cooking, travel and reading.

Why did you become a vegetarian?
Hated the taste and feel of meat.


FAVOURITES:

Food: Bean sprouts, fruit, cheese and cheesecake!

Animal: Dogs.

Sport: Swimming and kayaking.

Music: Reggae.

We think Ms Ngaire is very cool, funny, creative, kind, caring oh!!!! She has heaps of stylish clothes and especially shoes (from Shannon lol).
