There are tons of new books in the library. Some of the new books are: Dragon Rider and Shark Bait. You can find the new books on the shelf by the issue counter. There is an awesome range of books.

The top three most popular authors are: Jacqueline Wilson, Paul Jennings and Goscinny the writer of Asterix. The top three most popular books are: Bad girls by Jacqueline Wilson, The Recruit by Robert Muchamore and Unbearable by Paul Jennings.

The top three most active borrowers are: Georgia P (Nikau) with 70 books issued, Rogan T (Matai) with 64 books and Mrs Nisbet (Nutrition) with 53 books issued.

The three most active classes are: Room2 with 763 books issued, Room6 with 618 books issued and Room9 with 522 books issued.

LATEST LIBRARY LIFE

The KIS Chess Tournament is under way in the library. Kowhai, Nikau, Rimu are playing  at the moment.

Round 2 is under way in the library and so far Neelesh, Cameron and Lindsay are through to Round 3. Later Tawa and Matai will also play their Round 2 games. So far Matthew is through to Round 3. Good luck to everyone.

If you are interested in watching the Olympics during lunchtime at 12.40, you can watch it in the library.
