KAMO INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL SCIENCE FAIR
– Tuesday 24th -to- Friday 27th July 2007 –

This year the standard of Science Fair Projects was phenomenal! The presentation of the project was a step above last year and there were 215 exhibits to look at. This year the makeup of the Science Fair was as follows
TECHNOLOGY:  30 – Year 7 Projects  63 – Year 8 Projects
INVESTIGATION:  49 – Year 7 Projects  73 – Year 8 Projects

From all these projects, the winners plus the top 20 were selected. The judging panel of Mr Epskamp & Mr Kivell announced all the successful students at Assembly on Wednesday. The Best Of The Best:

As always the students from Kamo Intermediate (both past and present) did so well at the Central Northland Science & Technology Fair. K.I.S students were awarded 21 prizes, with our own Ellen S a Year-8 student from Room 5 winning the Overall Technology Award for 2007. Congratulations to Ellen, all of our prize winners and all of the Kamo Intermediate Support team (Mr Kivell, Mr Epskamp and our parents).
