The year was 2007. Petrol was $1.38 per litre in January, but cost $1.71 by December. Helen Clark and Labour were still in charge on the political front. The All Blacks were knocked out of the Rugby World Cup by France in the Quarter Finals.
At Kamo Intermediate we welcomed 3 new teachers Mrs McGregor, Miss Nelley and Mr Brown but also said goodbye to Miss McQuinn, Ms Te Whata, Mr Foster and Miss Crene.
Ellen from Room 5 won the Technology section of the Kamo Intermediate Science Fair before winning the Overall prize at the Central North Science & Technology Fair. The Grease Gang won the Talent Quest, K.I.S had their first ever team enter the Stage Challenge. The first boys Hockey team in 35 years won the JMC Competition and The Champion Syndicate for 2007 was TAWA.
