What made you want to be a librarian?
I enjoy books and the patterns and routines of managing a library.
How long have you been a librarian?
I started 20 years ago at K.I.S but other school libraries before that.
What was your favourite book when you were our age?
Enid Blyton, The Secret 7 series and the Famous 5 series. I ran a library from my desk in standard 5 and 6. Issued books by a card system.
What is your favourite book at the moment?
Fay Weldon, non-fiction and factual book writer.
Who is your favourite author?
I don’t have a favourite author, I read widely.
If you could have any three books for the library what would they be?
Jacqueline Wilson and Paul Jennings plus Deborah Ellis.
