Room 5ive's Camp 2007

 The wind was in our hair as we drove North to the protected Aroha Island. When we arrived we set up camp, tent poles and pegs flying everywhere!

We were woken by the sound of ducks quacking then set off for the thrilling Adventure World. There was a lot of cool stuff there, tightropes, a waterslide and even a trapeze! The trapeze was frightening at first but one you had done it once you couldn’t stop! Tahlia even broke her leg on it. The tightrope wasn’t very scary. There was only one person who made it, it was Baden. We headed back to the campsite, where a delicious dinner awaited us cooked by Mrs Howe (Logan’s Grandma).

The highlight of the Thursday was the camp concert! The camp concert was so embarrassing. The group that won was the apple dunkers.

Friday was all about fitting tents into their bags! Camp was so cool that everyone wanted to stay. We set off back to school leaving the best camp ever. At school we greeted our parents and zoomed home to sleep in our own beds!
