At camp the activity I enjoyed the most was a camp based activity, the water slide. It was an awesome feeling, sliding down a hill, gaining speed as you got further down, then getting a face full of water and foam as you got to the end.
The kayaking was the most challenging activity. Our group kayaked from Coopers Beach to Cable bay. We were all gliding across the water in a small group and it was quite funny when we had to raft up together.
The Heritage Trail was the worst thing at camp for me because I had a really sore headache, so walking up a steep hill and trying to think didn’t help much. I liked looking in the cemetery for the oldest gravestone.
In our cabin was Ashlee, Shontelle, Nicky, Bethany, Lizaan and I. Our bunk room was a bit small but we managed to squash all our luggage under some of the bunks.
The museum was interesting. There were some cool looking cars, I especially liked the tractor ride and feeding Milly the ostrich and Matt the sheep.
The flying fox was awesome, zooming down the hill, across the water then SMACK into the tyres at the end. It was an enhilarating feeling!
Overall camp was FUN and I enjoyed it!!!
