Daniel R, Class Rep and winner of the ’07 Year 8 Cross Country has some words for next years class…
Q1: As class Representative, what responsibilities do you have?
A1: [try to] Be a good role-model, make the Year 7’s feel more comfortable and help Mrs. Davies calm the class when they get to rowdy.
Q2: What do you do when the teacher isn’t looking?
A1: *laughs* Everything I’m not supposed to!
Q3: What interests you?
A3: Sport. Soccer and Cricket in particular.
Q4: How did you feel winning the cross-country?
A3: Um…happy? Proud.
Q5: How did you feel about going overseas to play soccer?
A5: Good experience. *laughs* It was fun, nerve-wracking though.
Q6: Any advice for next years Year 7/8’s?
A6: Work hard, have fun. Enjoy being in K.I.S/Rimu.
Q7: Who is your favourite teacher?
A7: Apart from Mrs. Davies? Mrs. McGregor.
Q8: Did you set any records in K.I.S?
A8: I didn’t time myself at cross-country, but apart from that, I don’t thing so.
Q9: What is your favourite subject in class?
A9: Not counting P.E, Maths I guess because I am pretty good at it.

What is your favourite food at the canteen?
I would have to say the mince hot bites or the chocolate moosies. They’re yummy!
How was your trip to Samoa Natalia?
It was a great experience, and I enjoyed seeing how another culture lives. It made me really appreciate what I have.
What time do you have to wake up?
I set my alarm for six, but I don’t get up till seven. Laughs
At school, what is your favourite specialist/s?
Probably music or art or nutrition or…I don’t know!
Who is your favourite teacher Natalia?
Mrs Davies!! (Or Mummy)
