HOW ROOM 14 BECAME ROOM 14…
Our Camp 2007

We arrived at Mangawhai Christian Park on the 2nd of April 2007. WE got put into our smelly cabins and then we got told the rules and boundaries. Then baggeds the beds we wanted. From sleep talking to snoring we fell asleep eventually knowing that caving and abseiling is awaiting us the next day.
After a thin bumpy trail we arrived at peek adventures where Mr Johnson and the trained instructors of peek adventures were waiting for us.
We were on the edge of a cliff strapped up and waiting to jump, we were as scared as chickens ready to be slaughtered, slowly one by one we got lowered down the slippery cliff face
Meanwhile the other tribes were either caving or A.B.L (adventure based learning) Doing the caving was wet muddy and cold and the A.B.L was strange. We all slept through the clock ticking the bright lights and the loud annoying adults that night.
Camp changed us all especially Kallum and Lanah, the two shiest people in the class.
