"C" It All Here In Unikau

Our teacher was Miss Brown until last year, when she got married. Now we have Mrs Smith!

Q1. What is your favourite subject to teach?
A. Social studies because I like learning about different countries and people.

Q2. How do you think last year went for the new way of learning in Nikau?
A. Well Mrs Hudspith is a great syndicate leader and we had very good kids too!

Q3. Can you remember your intermediate teacher and what were they like?
A. Yeah Mr Waddams he was a fantastic teacher he loved sport and teaching us to write well.

Q4. Why did you start teaching?
A. Because I had such a good teacher and I wanted to be one! It looked like fun. And it is.

Q5. If you could have super powers what would they be?
A. Teleporting myself that would be choice. And a computer installed into my hand.

Q1. Do you like being class rep?
T. Yes because I have a responsibility.
C. Yes it’s all right.

Q2. What is your favourite subject and why?
T. P.E because it’s fun.
C. P.E because I love sports.

Q3. Is this year better than last year?
T. No!
C. No way!

Q4. Do you consider yourself a responsible class rep?
T. No because the teacher never asks me to do anything.
C. No because I suck at maths and stuff.

Q5. If you could have superpowers what would they be?
T. Invisibility because I will be invisible.
C. Flame boy because I could shoot flames.

 Interview with Paul (Northland Soccer Rep)

Jesse interviewed Paul as he got into the Weir Rose bowl U12 Northland soccer team. On a Saturday he plays for Tikipunga. He plays Centre Midfield or right back.


Q1. How do you feel of getting into the U12 Northland Weir Rose bowl Soccer team?
A. Pretty excited and a little nervous.

Q2. Do you think of you as a good soccer player?
A. Yeah why else would I get into the rep team?

Q3. What made you want to play soccer?
A. From my Brothers success and my Mum talked me into it.

Q4.What super hero would you like to be well playing soccer?
A. Flash or the guy who goes invisible.

Q5. What brand soccer boots do you prefer?
A. Adidas because I’m an Adidas person and also they are the only ones that fit me properly.


At the tournament during the holidays the Northland team came 7th equal with Soccer 2 (Auckland). All of the team had a very great time and look forward to more tournaments in the future.
