WHAT THE STUDENTS THOUGHT
We took a poll of some of our WebSlingers to see what they did, and what they enjoyed about INTENSIVES 2006!
SF (Nikau):
I did Extreme Makeover, Scrapbook & Beading and the Teddy Bear Challenge. They were all my favourites, I enjoyed everything.
TW (Nikau):
Amazingful Race, Bushwaka and Golf On The Range. I really enjoyed the abseiling when I went on Bushwaka, it was coool.
SG (Rimu):
Photography for 3 days (Digital Darkroom). It was “Cool”
JT (Rimu):
Extreme Makeover, Abseiling & Rock Climbing, Scrapbooking & Beading. I enjoyed the Abseiling the most, I went up and down while Blindfolded 3 times!!!
JC (Rimu):
Sailing – It was AWESOME, we had Opti’s, P-Class and Sunburst yachts. The only bad thing was it’s not long enough!!!
CL (Tawa):
Amazingful Race, Paintball & Sports Til You Drop. Paintball of course was the best, it was funny and annoying because I had been shot, I put my hand up and they still shot me again . . . ANNOYING
JM (Tawa):
Turf & Surf, Amazingful Race, To The Summit. Amazingful Race was good, I had to eat dry weetbix but the best part was watching someone else put their hand in a bucket of cow poos to find 5 keys.
KM (Tawa):
Turf & Surf, Scrapbooking & Beading, Tapa Cloth. I enjoyed the Scrapbook & Beading – I like making that sort of stuff, it was FUN.
SP (Kowhai):
Cycling Tour, Relief Carving, Teddy Bear Challenge. I enjoyed the cycling Tour the most, going up and down the hills and getting to Mair Park.
GH (Kowhai):
Pacifica Art, Paintball, Animal Survival. Paintball – it was challenging and I got to HAMMER people mwahahahaha.
CY (Kowhai):
Cycling Tour, Pacifica Art, Badminton. Cycling was nice and easy only a 35 km ride.
GVN (Kowhai):
Teddy Bear Making (3 day Intensive) I really enjoyed it it was cool, you need patience and you just sat there and got on with it. I liked seeing the finished product.
BH (Kowhai):
Digital Darkroom (3 Day Intensive) It was fun, taking photos with lighting and the fans in the background.
LC (Kowhai):
Badminton, Abseiling & Rock Climbing, Horse Treking & Caving. The most fun was Abseiling because I learned heaps and I’ve never done it before.
