2006 HOCKEY COMPETITION HAS BEEN COMPLETED

OUR KAMO INTERMEDIATE HOCKEY TEAMS

This year Kamo Intermediate had 4 Hockey teams involved in the local Junior Girls JMC Competition. There were two "A" Grade Teams and two "B" Grade Teams. Our "A" Graders usually played their games on Thursday afternoons, while our "B" Graders played on Saturday mornings.

JMC HOCKEY "FUN DAY"

On the last day of this years JMC Hockey Season (23rd of September 2006), We had the JMC Hockey Fun Day. It just that, a FUN DAY where each team dresses up as the country of their choice (or anything they might want to dress up as). Kamo Intermediate had 4 teams represented as China, Holland, Cook Islands and . . . a Green Team. It was a . . . well . . . FUN DAY

The last act of the 2006 Hockey Season was the Prize-Giving BBQ held at the school Thursday afternoon. MANY THANKS to all PLAYERS, their PARENTS, and the ORGANISING COMMITEE (Mr Nic, Mr E, Mr Godfrey, Mrs Turner & Papanui).

In 2005 there were 6 teams competing in the 'A' Grade competition and 10 teams in the 'B' Grade draw. All three of our teams did awesome in their matches, with all three K.I.S teams having heaps of fun!

They've won, lost and drawn many games in 2005, but at least they have all enjoyed representing Kamo Intermediate this year (Can't wait for 2006).
