Kamo Intermediate School
Tuesday 22nd August was the day that every Kamo Intermediate Student looked forward to!!! (not) The K.I.S version of the marathon our Cross Country Championship.
As usual there were those who wanted to finish on the podium, but most just wanted to . . . finish. As with all previous years the top 10 finishes in each section, Y7 Girls, Y7 Boys, Y8 Girls and Y8 Boys go on to represent Kamo Intermediate at the Northland Cross Country Champs at Barge Park
Well done to all those who competed and congratulations to all of these Cross Country Idol Top 10 finishers.

Barge Park – Maunu
On Tuesday 5th September our KIS Cross Country Representatives (the Top Ten finishers in each section) competed against Year 7 and Year 8 students from all over Northland.
It was a HUGELY successful day for us as we swept the Year 7 Girls section, won the Year 7 Boys and Year 8 Girls races, and came 2nd in the Year 8 Boys event. The bonus from our Cross Country Team was that we won back the WIS-KIS Shield!!!
