Our Artist In Residence, Hayley Clark also organises one of the major Fashion Events in Northland – The BERNINA FASHION AWARDS Northland.

This Event which began way back in 1977 has now been going for 29 years, and during the last 3 years Hayley (and her partner in crime Papanui) have been running the Awards Show. Before she was involved in organising Bernina, she was a participant with some of her Extension Groups for the previous 7 years. This year the shows theme was “PACIFIC FUSION” and as well as Hayley’s Creative Arts Groups entering we also had Mrs Nicholson’s Revolutionised Clothing Groups taking part as well.

Next year the show will be taking place on 16th August 2007, so get ready, get busy, and get your entry in the show!!!
