WELCOME, Welcome, WELCOME….
Kia Ora and welcome to Room 6’s wonderful web page. Our Channel K class is filled with 30 bright and bubbly students, our awesome teacher Ms Arms, as well as our wonderful teacher support Chris.
When we are in class we work exceptionally hard and try to be the best we can be and as for school wide activities and lunchtime sports, we are always out there representing ourselves, and our class- our class tries hard to make a healthy difference in the school. All the 30 students in our class are all very talented and different, so talented in fact that most of our class is involved in lots of extensions and extra curriculum activities. Our class respects and embraces not only our own, but everyone’s uniqueness…
KAHORE HE KIA,
KAHORE HE TIKA,
ENGARI HE REREKE
THERE IS NO RIGHT WAY,
THERE IS NO WRONG WAY,
ONLY DIFFERENT WAYS
We have made this web page to tell you about us, our class and what we get up to,
We hope you enjoy our web page as much as we enjoyed making it.

Tangihua Lodge Room 6 Camp 2006
On Week 10 of Term One we went on a thrilling adventure to Tangihua Lodge, which is nestled deeply in the native bush of the remote Tangihua Ranges.
Here is a brief account of what went on deep in the bush…
We arrived at school egging to go hardly restraining ourselves from right then and there jumping in the cars and racing off. After the blah de blah of the morning we were finally off weaving and turning through the native bush. A small brown building hidden in the bush was to be our home for the next 4 days. And what a great 4 days it was. Thousands of fun, interesting things were organised for us to have go at during our adventure nicknamed ‘camp’. From the difficult Challenge course, to the yummy Hobo stove cooking. From the heart-racing Animal survival to the freaky Abseiling. From the brain-thumping Mission Impossible to secret agent Caving. Nobody could choose a favourite.
Blukatoes, Limlams, Rantulas, Purgulees. They all sound like names of aliens from Mars but in fact they were the tribes that we battled through camp as a part of, they were the teams in which we worked in to complete our challenges, and we were recognised by colour co-ordinated, funny- looking pointy hats. We were truly a sight for sore eyes.
Tangihua Lodge is centred in the heart of the Tangihua Ranges, and it was the best place ever to hold the whirlwind of adventure and fun that was known as our camp. We all had an absolute blast and enjoyed every tiny little particle of it. There is so many, more things to say, so many, more things to write but sadly we’d have to write a novel to fit in the whole story of our classes camp.

Interview with Te Aniwa and Olivia- Class Reps
Last year two students from our class got voted for class rep, Olivia and Te Aniwa. In our class they do a really good job at making sure we are all well behaved and helping us do well. They also are part of the student council and help voice our class’s opinions and ideas. Te Aniwa and Olivia do very well at their job and are responsible, reliable, hard working and great role models.
We interviewed our class reps with a random quiz to find out the unusual things about them. Here are our results.

Through this random quiz, we have discovered a wacky side underneath Olivia and Te Aniwa normal sensible selves. They do very well to hide their wackiness and so we will have to leave it at that.
