My Fiji Experience

An experience filled with laughter, thrill, sunbathing, swimming and (of coarse) shopping! The Islands were hot and tropical. You were treated like royalty. We were welcomed with a warm Fijian BULA! Every time! When it was time to leave you felt like you were leaving something behind, like your pillow something you’ll miss forever but it was really a true friend that you had made in an instant, the click of your fingers (click). I would go back in a flash!!

Fiji - A Tourists Story
We interviewed intrepid traveller Michelle from Room 9 about the K.I.S Fiji Tour 2005.

The tourists left for Auckland Airport on Saturday morning, ok early Saturday morning! “Now when I say early, I mean it was 3:00am from the school”. They travelled by bus (but only after the bus driver broke the key in the luggage compartment door & They had to crawl thru the other set of doors to load luggage).

What was Michelle's most enjoyable Fijian experience? "Well there were a few, on the ‘Wana Taki’ (a big boat) we were allowed to jump off it, that was cool. We also did lots of snorkelling which was awesome and the 'Crab Race' was funny, mine came in Second!"

Another experience which was really surprising was pizza, “We went to a place called ‘Mamas Pizza’ The pizzas were huge and I don’t really like pizza but I ate heaps it was delicious” Unfortunately the least enjoyable experience was when she got sick.

Would she recommend it to others? "Obviously YES, I'd go back if I could"

Thanks Michelle!!
