DUATHLON 2005
"KIS Sports"



22nd of February at Onerahi, SPORT Northland organized this years DUATHALON. It ended up a fine hot day (but it didn’t look like it at first). It was a run - cycle - run format with teams of three. The Year 5-6's going first and the Year 7-8 racing after them.

With teams from Glenbervie Primary (Hi Jason), Whangarei Heads School, Tikipunga High, Onerahi Primary and Raurimu Ave Primary. Kamo Intermediate had an awesome turn out with 38 teams of 3.

The winners in the Year 5-6 sections were:
Boys – Whangarei Heads School
Girls – Glenbervie Primary
Mixed – Glenbervie Primary

The winners in the Year 7-8 sections were:
Boys – Kamo Intermediate
Girls – Whangarei Heads School
Mixed – Kamo Intermediate

Congratulations to all those who participated, and well done to all of our kids you did well. Of course we are now one ahead in the WIS-KIS Challenge!!
